Set Good Sleep Habits

For a healthier mind and body – set good sleep habits!

Skin Health Hub Body Health Sleep HabitsTry ‘hitting-the-sack’ early to optimize your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate). The time considered to boost your metabolic momentum is between 10 pm – 4am. The average person burns about 77 calories an hour while sleeping, but the actual number of calories burned by a specific individual depends on your Basal Metabolic Rate.
The Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) is the minimum rate at which your body burns calories in order to support the body’s autonomic systems: breathing, heart rate, nervous system and body temperature when at rest.

To achieve a feeling of optimum health, increasing the amount of time we sleep and combining this with balanced meal plans and exercise will help us arrive at a greater state of well-being.

Being healthy shouldn’t be about deprivation, good health should be a side-effect of what happens to our body’s when the food we eat is actually doing us good. Good health will transform your body and mind and enable you to love the body you’re in.
