Atopic Dermatitis is also a common childhood skin allergy. The condition is more prevalent in cases where there is a family history of hay fever or asthma where the likelihood of having a sensitised child is higher and their skin is more susceptible to reacting to allergens in the environment.  Common symptoms include the formation of a red rash or blistering of the skin.
