  1. Drink more water

Starting your day by drinking a glass of warm water with a squeeze of lemon juice will not only kick-start your metabolism, cleanse your liver and prepare your gut for digestion but will alkalize and hydrate your body too.

Soups containing vegetables such as cabbage, kale and broccoli, zucchini, broad beans and asparagus are a great way to make sure you are getting enough nutrients while you are detoxing.
